A FEW LITTLE VISITORS...

If you follow Judith March on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter you may have seen the unique guests we had visit us at work last week. They weren't our usual client, corespondent or guest...they were a little bit more furry.

A friend of the company, Seleta, kindly and generously allowed us to use her adorable hens for the Southern Fashion House promo video {coming to your home soon}. 

They were the most delightful creatures. You could pick them up and hold them like a baby, they were very friendly and easy going. Even Louie made friends with them!

GAME DAY TRENDS: UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA

Coming to us from the loveliest village on the plaines, Alex, an apparel design major at Auburn University, is a wonderful addition to the Judith March Team! Originally from Troy, AL, designer and founder Stephanie Carter's hometown, Alex is excited for a semester of fashion fun and learning & we are more than happy to have her with us!

Alex is one of our all-time favorite Judith March dresses! 

Fun Facts

Alex's favorite (recent) movie is the 2013 remake of Ella Fitzgerald's, The Great Gatsby.

Walking on the beach, finding seashells and seafood are on top of her list of Florida-girl activities she loves!

Alex is a sister of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority--same as Stephanie!

Alex graduated from the same high school as Designer, Stephanie Carter, & CEO, Christy Smith.

Alex can't get enough of her Grandma's Cookin'--Soul Food is one of her favorites--"finger lickin' good!"

Asheville, North Carolina is one of Alex's favorite places to visit--"being in the mountains for Christmas with my family is one of my favorite times of the year."

Our favorite fun fact about Alex? She's a Dixie Darling AND a Clogger--we tried to get her to perform for us, but she wasn't having it--we'll keep trying & keep you posted :-)

Speaking of Fall, we asked Alex what she loves most about Fall; these are her top four: Cool weather, football, boots, leaves falling.

With Alex's design background we she has been busy helping out our designers organize, dye fabrics & crochets, assisting the sewing room with tasks, creating Southern Fashion House holiday surprises and assist in creating the graphics for future designs and #JudyTanks!

We look forward to getting to know Alex even more--her sweet, helpful, smart and joyous spirit make her a pleasure to be around, and we can't wait to see what great things she will be doing after graduation!

1. Olivia's favorite fashion trends this Fall are combat boots and layering

2. Olivia grew up vacationing on the Emerald Coast, and shopped at Deja Vu the first year it opened. That is how she found out about Judith March.            

3. Olivia's favorite part about living in Santa Rosa Beach this semester is the "sand and the sun."

4. The Great Gatsby is one of Olivia's all-time-favorite books!

5. Breaking Bad & Downton Abbey are just a few of Olivia's favorite T.V shows.

6. Favorite thing to do: play with her Japanese Chin puppy, Gizmo, play around on Photoshop and photography. 

7. This past Summer, Olivia had the opportunity to study abroad in Italy through Auburn University's College of Human Science. "I loved it! My favorite place I traveled was probably the Island of Capri."

Since arriving here a week ago, Olivia has 100% embraced the team work and culture of Team Judy. She has done everything from helping out with Customer service to assisting us create one-of-a-kind decorations for our upcoming VIP event for SOWAL Fashion Week, in October. 

Olivia's great work ethic and outgoing, sweet disposition has been nothing but a joyous addition to the office atmosphere. We look forward to seeing what else is in store for Olivia these next couple of months!

Yay! Football Season is officially H E R E!

With last weekend's kickoff, college football fans across the nation have begun their weekly traveling to their favorite [and respected] college campus for a fun-filled day of tailgating and football! As we continue our tour of Game Day trends, we head to the Loveliest Village on the Plains [not that I'm biased; it's pure fact :P]; AUBURN UNIVERSITY!
