A typical day at Judith March. The sky is blue. The birds are chirping. Packages are coming in, and packages are going out. One small package, separate from the rest, caught our eye in a special way. The sweet niece of Stephanie Nichols, sent us a kind request to be a part of her school project. Her name is Caroline, and here is her letter...

Along with the letter, was a folded, flat, mini-man, wearing a yellow collared shirt and a green polka dot tie. Flat Stanley it is!

And so the journey began. Throughout the day, at the Judith March studios, Stanley made his rounds, getting to know the staff, and finding excitement around every bend! See for yourself, Stanley's experience through 'a day in the life' of Judith March!

Stanley discovers www.JudithMarch.com, where we share our store info, lookbooks, and history, with the world!

Stanley meets the staff, and decides to team up on getting work done at the studio!

Stanley feeds Judith(the fish), first priority of the day!

Stanley gets a little caught up in the sewing room... This is where the design and sewing team create from start to finish, our sample designs!

Stanley helps pack up dresses and get them ready for shipping, in our warehouse! Hang on, Stanley, great photo opp!

Once the UPS delivery truck arrives, Stanley generously assists Buddy to send out the latest Judith March styles to dozens of boutiques!

Stanley is proud to be a part of the team!

We found these inspirational ideas to occupy your idle hands this holiday season, AND while you're going green using recycled goods, sleep better knowing you've saved a buck or two by not buying into the traditional 'must-have' Christmas wrapping paper of our ancestors (which of whom we ALWAYS appreciate learning from)!

Let the eye candy ensue:

For a quick pick me up - string a cute couple of mini ornaments on some organic twine for a pop of color meets nature!

Another easy peezy swingin' string idea, is using personalized letters as an element of design. They may be tough to cut at the right angle, but when you're using a festive patterned paper, guess who's going to notice... Yep, that's right! NO ONE! :)

Symmetrical snowflakes, we learned in grade school... but that doesn't mean we can't use them today!

Doily shaped stamps on cardstock and hung with thread. So simple, yet adds an intricate touch to the everyday gifting.

"Love is under the tree!" Whether you're in love or not, you have to recognize this sweet 'etching on the tree', way to announce your love to one another. It's a classic! ~For gift-giving, this look melts our hearts~

Friday Night, in honor of local fundraiser, Wish upon a car, the girls of Judith March were proud to donate a handful of colorful dresses. Presented through a live auction on stage, were some of our favorite holiday/fall looks of all time!

Wish Upon a Car focuses on underprivileged children for a full day of fun-filled events, sponsored by dozens of local businesses. Events include 654 Limo rides, shows at our local Florida's Gulfarium, meals at Fudpuckers, and shopping at Baytown Wharf! The night looked something like this . . .

This year's 'Wish Upon a Car' will be held December 13th, thanks to all of the local contributors for their support!

Grandparent's Day at Point Washington!

On the way out the door to her son, Fox's school's 'Grandparent's Appreciation Day', we caught owner/designer, Stephanie Nichols decked out in the Judith March brown Afghan belt, one of our most unique pieces to our Fall 2011 Collection! Multicolored crochet patterns seem to match almost any look, varying from Fall bell sleeved empire waist dresses and skirts, to Steph's pick of natural cream lacey crocheted shorts with a bold, cobalt blue button up.

Pictured below, are Stephanie and Fox's greeting at the luncheon.

The playfully sweet decor, created by the Schubert's, included mini 'Grandpeople' cookie pops, and grandparent inspired words and sayings. This table topper reads, --The simplest toy... One which ever a child can operate... is called a Grandparent--

To kickstart 'Grandparent's Appreciation Day' at the school, the children rounded up in circles of song and dance, and boy did they dance.

What a GREAT turn out with dozens of Grandparents, parents, and siblings involved!

Tasia and Megan 7:30 makeup session* Going for the 'holiday' look, we used eco tools soft tip brushes, a full Coastal Scents pallet in warm tone, and created a smokey eye, with soft lips look for the fall and gameday collections. Later, we added on glassy red lips for ultimate drama in the holiday collection shoot!

Over the weekend, Stephanie's son, Fox, joined in the action of creating new samples for the coming Fall 2011 line! In the sewing room, Fox dives into the mix of fabric without a second thought!

Fox may have a slightly different sense of fashion than the typical Judith March wearer, but in witnessing him use this fabric as his 'cape', we can't argue with the creativity at hand!

Judith March Graphic Designer, Tasia McDaniel, (me) celebrated her 24th birthday on Friday afternoon. It's safe to say that all of my 'favorites' were present that afternoon. Those being: Pizza by the Sea, birthday cake, awesome company, diet coke, and little Louie, Stephanie's teeny tiny havanese puppy, who was slick enough to get a hold of a mouth full of cheese topping from a leftout piece of pizza!

Anyone lucky enough to pop in the studios this week has been pleasantly surprised with the following events: Amy Riley's, bridal shower and Melissa Craig's birthday!

Our staff put together a gourmet lunch including the following dishes: pimento cheese wraps - compliments of chef Anna, chocolate delight - compliments of chef Amanda, pound cake - compliments of chef Judith (yes, THE Judith! ), pretzels and dip variety - compliments of chef Megan, and chocolate cupcakes - compliments of chef Suzie(Did I mention these were filled with juicy cherrys and topped with chocolate icing? Just throwing that out there)! **among many other awesome dishes!

We love Judith... the fish that is! As one of our newest staff members, Judith has one of the greatest office spaces in our studios. With three stories of swim space, she is, to say the least, getting comfortable. Owner / Designer, Stephanie Nichols' son, Fox, is well aware that Judith resembles 'Nemo', and has named her accordingly.

In attempting to photograph Judith / Nemo, I've come to an understanding that she may be photogenic, but she is, in no way, a fan of the camera.

Not only have we outgrown our initial office space, but we've managed to bring in new, creative, staff members with great ideas and most of all, passion. I believe we are all passionate to be a part of Judith March, and we make it our mission to ALWAYS 'find a way'. When you believe in yourself, there is always a way.

No matter what season we're designing for, we're looking for the newest 'way' to make a mark on fashion. Following trends is easy. Following trends is seeing it once, then twice, then approving it. That is not what we aim for. As a fresh line, Judith March is here to stand out. If for no other purpose, wear a dress that you feel special in. How many times do you look through your closet and see that same look your best friend wears? What differentiates you from the crowd can can be more than wearing the same 'look' in a different way.
